Beschreibung des Chateau Dorrien |
|
|
Weeping Willow. 2005 Verdelho. After 20 years of winemaking in the Barossa Valley the Martin family decided to expand their wine making operation to include in their range cool climate area grape varieties. So in March 2005 they purchased an 80 acre vineyard at Myponga on the Fleurieu Peninsula SA. They named it San Fernando Estate. This wine was produced from premium Verdelho grapes grown on the Estate and named “Weeping Willow” after the gigantic willow tree on the property, the wine has strong appealing lifted aromas of peaches, green apples, fresh citrus with a hint of ripe melon. Opulent fruit weight on the palate extending to sweet tropical fruit characters balanced with a crisp acid finish. |
