DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli
It is the Cru among the officially classified red wines. It is finely cut from Refosco, Schioppettino, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes picked on the hill of "Roncat" and then rested inside barriques for 18 months.
Its colour is vivid ruby red with strong purple reflections. Its perfume is strong and scented of ripe fruit and vanilla. Its flavour is velvety.
It must be coupled with important courses such as red meat or game.
It must be drunk within 10 years after the vintage took place.
